| ago I took 13 tylenol 3s at once, about 390 mg of codeine, and had a really great, long-lasting nod. Is that too much APAP for the liver? And will it be safe to take say 13-15 fioricet at a time? Will the cold-water extraction work on these pills? Also, isnt the liver the only organ that actually heals itself?? |
| I took Fioricet for a while for my migraines and then I was switched over to Phrenilin Forte which is basically the same thing except it doesnt contain caffeine. My pharmacist told me that if I felt I needed the caffeine for some headaches to drink a cup of coffee or soda with the medication. I do better without the caffeine. My doctor feels this is the "safest" medication he can prescribe for me as far as addiction goes. He is pretty squeamish about prescribing any narcotics but this one makes him feel comfortable. Its hard to say how any doctor is going to react. I wish you luck. |
| The first doctor gave me Fioricet which worked most of the time, then I went to see a neurologist. He stopped giving me the Fioricet and tried about 4 kinds of medication. He refused to give me anymore Fioricet, even when I had a headache for a week. He just smiled and said he couldent do anything (Asshole). After this I went to see another doctor who gave me Fioricet and another daily medication. While on the daily meds I could still take the Fioricet when needed. After trying two different daily medications she gave me Prozac. The Prozac cut down the headaches and I used the Fioricet when needed. This was the best off I had been ever, until 3 years later. |

| "The fact that they pulled their FDA submissions is very telling," especially with the company saying its data on those drugs might be faulty, di Stefano said. She said she has never seen a company completely shut down its drug pipeline.
An Able spokeswoman who would not give her name said Friday the company is "not commenting at this time" and refused to answer any questions.
